Nebular and Polaris coexist in a single environment to manage prices and assortment centrally, from packaged goods to fresh and served departments.
A supermarket inside a campsite, with its own operational demands
The store at Camping La Quercia in Lazise, on the shores of Lake Garda, is no simple service market โ it’s a full supermarket managing around 8,000 SKUs. What makes it distinctive is its context: the store operates only during the campsite’s opening season, a concentrated time window where efficiency and speed of management make all the difference. Dynamic, easy-to-manage solutions that can handle high-intensity operations are essential.
Prices always aligned, staff freed up
The client’s primary need was to manage price changes centrally and in real time, ensuring consistency across the entire product range. With Nicolis Project electronic shelf labels, every update is instant and uniform across all departments, with no repetitive manual intervention. The outcome works on two levels: greater operational efficiency and staff who can dedicate more time to customer service.
Two ESL lines, one single environment
The defining feature of this installation is the coexistence of the Nebular and Polaris lines within the same store โ a concrete demonstration of how different solutions can integrate effectively, each serving the specific needs of its department, from packaged goods to the store’s most demanding areas.
Nebular where conditions get tough
The supermarket’s offering goes beyond packaged products: it includes fresh and served departments such as produce and deli, which add management complexity. This is where nebularย labels come into their own, ideal for served departments thanks to their IP68 certification โ resistant to water, dust and low temperatures, and built for the store’s most challenging environments.
A partner rooted in the territory
La Quercia chose Nicolis Project for its solid local presence and ability to deliver flexibility and professionalism at every stage of the project. An approach that, in a seasonal, high-intensity context like this, translates into reliable support from initial design through to final commissioning.
“For this project we chose an important Partner like Nicolis Project to improve organisation, the speed of price updates and the overall customer experience inside the supermarket. We strongly believe in innovation applied to services, especially when it manages to simplify daily operations and improve the quality perceived by our guests,” said Davide Russo, Entrepreneur and Manager of Camping La Quercia.
The Camping La Quercia installation confirms how Nicolis Project’s ESL technology can adapt to any format and any requirement, even in the most distinctive retail contexts.
